This Privacy Policy describes how Sanraj Ventures Inc., operating as Glamiti, collects, uses, processes, and discloses information in connection with the Glamiti platform and related services.
1. Scope and Applicability
This Privacy Policy applies only to:
Canadian businesses that register for and use the Glamiti platform ("Merchants")
Personal information processed by Glamiti in its capacity as a service provider
Glamiti provides a business-to-business (B2B) software platform for businesses operating in the beauty and wellness industry.
This Privacy Policy does not govern:
The relationship between Merchants and their customers or clients ("End Customers")
Any data collected directly by Merchants outside the Glamiti platform
Any products or services offered by third parties
End Customers do not have a direct contractual or legal relationship with Glamiti.
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
"Merchant"
means a business entity located in Canada that uses the Glamiti platform.
"End Customer"
means an individual who interacts with a Merchant and whose information may be processed by the Merchant using the Services.
"Personal Information"
has the meaning given under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
"Third-Party Services"
means services provided by third parties that integrate with or support the Services, including payment processors and cloud infrastructure providers.
"Services"
means the Glamiti software platform, applications, and related services provided by Sanraj Ventures Inc.
3. Roles and Responsibilities
For personal information processed through the Services:
Merchants are the data controllers and are responsible for:
Determining what Personal Information is collected
Obtaining all required consents from End Customers
Complying with applicable privacy and consumer protection laws
Glamiti acts as a data processor / service provider and processes Personal Information solely on behalf of and under the instructions of Merchants.
Glamiti does not independently determine the purposes for which End Customer Personal Information is collected or used.
4. Information We Collect
A. Merchant Information
We may collect information provided by Merchants, including:
Business name, address, and contact details
Authorized user information
Account credentials
Billing and payment-related information
Communications with Glamiti support
B. End Customer Information (Processed on Behalf of Merchants)
Merchants may input or collect End Customer information through the Services, including:
Names
Phone numbers
Appointment details
Notes and service history
This information is collected and controlled solely by the Merchant.
5. Purpose of Processing
We process Personal Information only as necessary to:
Provide, operate, and maintain the Services
Process payments and transactions
Enable platform functionality
Communicate with Merchants regarding the Services
Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations
We do not sell Personal Information.
6. Legal Basis for Processing (Canada)
Personal Information is processed based on:
Contractual necessity to provide the Services to Merchants
Merchant instructions and consent
Compliance with Canadian legal obligations
Glamiti does not represent compliance with privacy laws outside Canada.
7. Third-Party Service Providers
We use Third-Party Services to support the operation of the platform, including:
Payment processing services (e.g., Stripe)
Cloud infrastructure and hosting providers (e.g., Amazon Web Services)
Communication and analytics tools
These third parties process Personal Information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Glamiti is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.
8. Cross-Border Data Processing
Personal Information may be stored or processed outside Canada, including in the United States.
Such information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is processed.
Merchants are responsible for informing their End Customers of any cross-border data processing.
9. Data Security
Glamiti implements commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect Personal Information.
However:
No system is completely secure
We cannot guarantee absolute security
Transmission of information is at the Merchant's own risk
10. Data Retention
Personal Information is retained only as long as necessary to:
Provide the Services
Meet legal, accounting, or regulatory requirements
Resolve disputes or enforce agreements
Information may be deleted or anonymized when no longer required.
11. Rights and Requests
A. Merchants
Merchants may access, update, or request deletion of their account information through the platform or by contacting Glamiti support.
B. End Customers
End Customers must direct all privacy-related requests to the relevant Merchant.
Glamiti will assist Merchants in responding to such requests only in its capacity as a data processor, where legally required.
Glamiti does not independently respond to End Customer requests unless required by applicable Canadian law.
12. Children and Minors
The Services are not intended for individuals under the age of majority.
Merchants are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws when providing services to minors.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Continued use of the Services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
